It factors in the weather, what is in your calendar, what is clean, what you have worn recently and the trends you save. The goal is simple: more outfits from the same rail, and far fewer purchases you regret.
Most members reach a usable wardrobe in about 25 minutes. Photograph a rail at a time — Continue segments individual garments from a single photo — or import your order history from any of 4,200 supported retailers with the browser extension. You do not need to photograph socks.
No. We do not sell, rent or broker wardrobe data, and we do not build advertising segments from it. Affiliate revenue only appears when you choose to buy a gap-filling item we recommended, and the recommendation logic never changes based on commission. This is written into our Terms, not just our marketing.
It is very good at combinatorics and constraint-solving — silhouette balance, colour harmony, formality, fabric weight, season and repetition avoidance — and it learns from every look you keep or kill. It is not a substitute for a human eye on a big occasion, which is why Plus members can send any generated look to a stylist for same-day notes.
Cropping and tagging happen on-device wherever your hardware supports it. Photos sync to your private wardrobe so you can see it on desktop, are encrypted at rest, and are never used to train models for other members unless you explicitly opt in from Settings → Data.
Yes — and those wardrobes tend to get the best results. Unlabelled pieces are tagged by visual attributes rather than SKU, so a vintage wool blazer with no tag is catalogued by fabric, cut, weight and colour just like a current-season one.

The extension supports Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc. Native apps are available for iOS 16+ and Android 11+. Everything syncs through the same account, and the web wardrobe works in any modern browser.
Subscriptions first. Affiliate commission on the small number of gap-filling items members choose to buy is a secondary line, and sponsored placements are labelled as such and never enter the outfit generator. If a recommendation would not survive the one-in-five-out rule, it does not ship — sponsored or not.
